Graduating from Detroit's Wayne State University in the late 80's with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Painting was the start of my adulthood experience. My most pronounced passion is painting with oil on canvas. Yet I love to create with just about anything I can get my hands on. I am interested in developing many new creative chapters exploring and expanding working with rich textures which in my earlier works felt forbidden due to the expense. In the mid 90's I began work in the Information Technology field... I was a Senior Systems Engineer who specialized in Visual Basic for Access, I developed customized reporting databases for my corporate clients as well as provided system administration support on several different platforms. I am now discovering the road of least resistance to experience the creativity I crave, and I’m loving every single minute.

As for me, I am a pretty thoughtful guy thinking things through in hopes that there are answers that I will find, confident everything is good in regards to all of our lifelong journeys. Our journey is made up of moments of laughter and tears that we share with family and friends. I fully accept that everything is permissible but that not everything is beneficial. It happens to be a life filled with learning... and I love to learn. The most important lessons I’ve learned: 1) If it doesn’t make your toes wiggle it isn’t worth it. 2) It’s the relationships that count. 3) It’s the people with skills of engagement you’re looking for… being lonesome is for when you’re truly alone… and the most important thing of all is I have found 3 keys that unlock everything: authenticity, gratitude, and joy! I believe it will be a strange experience to leave this life's existence, I feel that this has been the most enjoyable lifetime I could possibly imagine. We really are all connected because we are made of the very same energy. Most of all I wish that freedom and liberty never fade from our conscience and that peace, love, happiness, and the best energy guide all our lives.

In building relationships, I believe the key factors are love, trust, and respect. If we have love, trust, and respect we have everything we came here for. Had you ever heard the Cherokee Legend of The Two Wolves? It is an inspiring story to me, and it goes something like this: A Cherokee elder is teaching a child about life and explained, "A fight is going on inside of me… It is a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf is all about fear and anger… that wolf is filled with envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, deceit, false pride, superiority, and ego." The elder continued, "The other wolf is all about love and goodness… that wolf is filled with joy, peace, understanding, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith." The elder asked the child if they were aware that this same fight was going on inside of them… "and that the fight goes on inside every person that we might get a chance to know." The child thought a while about this story and then turned to ask the elder, "Which wolf will win?" The Cherokee elder simply replied, "The one that we feed." My best now and always,
